WeShare Senior picks up where Medicare leaves off.

Low monthly contributions. A simple $500 Annual Member Care Share. Additional sharing support for the costs Medicare doesn't cover, designed for Medicare members who want more predictable healthcare costs and fewer surprises.

What is WeShare Senior?

WeShare Senior is a healthcare sharing program built for people who already have Medicare but still feel exposed to the gaps — the co-pays, the coinsurance, the specialist you can't find in-network. It works alongside your Medicare plan, not instead of it: Medicare processes your bills first, then WeShare comes in.

It offers additional sharing support for:

Bills where Medicare applies member liability — your co-pay, coinsurance, or deductible

Services Medicare doesn't standardly cover — like preventive annual physicals, acupuncture, or chiropractic care

Costs beyond Medicare's limits — where WeShare Senior's sharing limit goes further

Specialists outside the Medicare network — when the right provider isn't available within 30 miles of home

A simple way to fill the gaps.

How the Annual Member Care Share works

When you need to access care, Medicare processes their portion first. You'll pay any outstanding costs until your Annual Member Care Share Amount ($500) is reached. It works similar to a deductible — after your AMCS has been met, your sharing benefits pick up 100% of eligible costs. In other words, for eligible medical services, you'll only ever be responsible for $500. No more massive Medicare deductible or coinsurance to worry about budgeting for.

Commonly Asked Questions

Can WeShare Health work alongside Medicare?

Yes. For members 65 and older who are enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B, WeShare Health sharing can be used alongside Medicare as a secondary option to help share eligible medical costs Medicare does not fully cover — such as Member liability on Medicare-covered bills, services not standardly covered by Medicare, services beyond Medicare's limits where WeShare Senior offers broader sharing limits, and services from providers not registered with Medicare when no in-network specialist is available within 30 miles.

Should I choose WeShare Health instead of Medicare, or alongside it?

You can't enroll in WeShare Senior unless you are enrolled in Medicare Parts A&B. WeShare Senior is intended to add additional support, rather than replace Medicare.

I'm approaching 65 — how should I think about WeShare Senior versus a Medicare plan?

Many people begin comparing Medicare options around age 63-64. If you're in this window, it's worth discussing with a WeShare healthcare sharing expert how a supplemental WeShare Senior option might complement whichever Medicare plan you select, particularly for costs like dental, vision, and prescriptions that traditional Medicare doesn't always cover.

Does WeShare Health help cover common Medicare gaps like dental, vision, or prescriptions?

WeShare Senior is designed to help with exactly these kinds of gaps. Ask our healthcare sharing experts which specific sharing benefits are included for members who are also enrolled in Medicare.
